If you’ve been following along for the last few months, you know I’ve been working on creating a small stationery line for the first time (here are posts on the mood board, print process and picking paper). And…I finally wrapped it up! You’ll see from the mood board linked above that it definitely changed from conception to final product, which I’m totally OK with, because I’m the client. And I am happy with the results. I made one million drafts of designs at the beginning that DID use the mood board, and I ended up scrapping all of them. They weren’t working and I wasn’t getting anywhere, so I decided to switch gears in order to move forward. I ultimately went with a wintery theme because we are in full blown cold-weather mode in Minnesota right now and there is no end in sight yet (the 10-day forecast does not include a temp above freezing – yikes). So we might as well embrace it…right? Check out my new shop to see the designs in all their glory.
Now that I’ve gone through the process once and figured out some of the unknowns, I’m looking forward to doing it again! Thanks for following along
